Repair or calibration form
Fill out and print a COMET repair form and include it with the product
- The repair form provides the service technician with all necessary information to diagnose the device issue.
- If you cannot print the repair form, send the device for repair with your official order document.
Provide all necessary information with the product
- To obtain warranty service, you must provide proof of purchase with the purchase date.
- To qualify for warranty service, proof of purchase is usually required.
- If unavailable, we will assess whether the product is still under warranty based on its serial number and production date.
How to send parcels from non-EU countries
- Due to changes in EU legislation regarding customs clearance of imported shipments, it is mandatory to include a customs invoice.
- The invoice must include the serial numbers of all shipped devices.
- If serial numbers are not listed, customs clearance cannot be guaranteed.
- The package may be returned to the sender, and additional costs for shipping and repair may apply
- If the shipment contains both devices for repair and returned or loaned devices, two separate invoices must always be issued – one for repaired devices and another for returned or loaned devices.
- For easier customs clearance, we recommend that the total value on the invoice does not exceed 20 EUR.
- Higher values may result in additional customs duties and increased repair costs."
Shipping guidelines
- We only accept shipments via standard courier services, such as UPS, TNT, FedEx.
- If goods are shipped using low-cost shipping companies, we cannot guarantee proper delivery, and additional customs clearance or service fees may apply.
Preferred procedure for service and warranty repairs
- When sending goods for service or warranty repair, we prefer that the shipment is arranged through the distributor from whom the product was originally purchased.
- This ensures a smoother process and better support throughout the service procedure.
REPAIR DEVICES MUST BE DELIVERED WITH A COMPLETED REPAIR FORM OR ORDER. OTHERWISE, THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
